Scientific Manuscripts was established in 2008 with the intention of alleviating the administrative pressure on research scientists by providing writing support.

Our goals are:

To improve the efficiency of the science system by providing writing support for scientists who are actively researching and seeking funding opportunities.

To provide employment opportunities for scientists who are on parental leave, retiring from full-time work, studying or seeking permanent contracted work in their chosen field.

To provide basic business skills and professional development to science-trained people and empower them to initiate their own businesses.

To enable scientists to develop networks within their fields and to remain current when they are not actively researching.
